Since I was a teenager, I was hooked on the fact that what you eat can have a direct impact on your health. As my education in this field continued, I learned that being healthy goes way beyond the nutrition facts label.
I used to feel guilty after eating cookies, ice cream, and just about any other dessert. I would telling myself “It’s ok because I exercised,” “I’ll do better tomorrow,” or “This is a cheat day.” I used to check the scale thinking I have to be at some “magic” number to feel good about my body. Changing these thoughts helped me reach food freedom.
I became an RD because I want to help other athletes, fitness enthusiasts, as well as anyone else who is struggling with restricting, bingeing and all other disordered eating behaviors. Through my coaching program, I can help reduce the stress and anxiety you may be feeling when making food choices. Diets are not sustainable. This is because all diets have a common focus; restriction! Diets force you to follow someone else’s plan and eliminate certain foods or food groups. My coaching program follows an all foods fit approach. I want to help YOU live a guilt-free, happier life, without feeling like you’re on a diet. There is nothing more rewarding than watching someone progress towards a positive relationship with their food!
